What I don't see is Yaesu coming out for a replacement size wise to the FTDX3000 ...The dials are in better places now on the 710, for example. I like my FTDX10 but don't use all the features and wish it had better ergonomics, and was a bit cheaper. So the 710 sounds good. At least as good as a 7300. It's no hybrid but it is a newer SDR design. Only downside is Icom have superior menus in my opinion. Any radio in the top 20 is going to be good, but getting a radio in the top 4 is a pretty good thing! From what I've read, the 710 was the next logical step in upgrading the HF product line. The dx101 replaced the dx5000. The dx10 replaced the dx3000. The FT710 replaces the dx1200.
